Since January 2016 I have been a music journalist and photographer at Devolution Magazine. During these years I have been fortunate enough to work at some of the biggest festivals in Europe, as well as covering smaller local events. I’ve interviewed some of my heroes, and photographed some of the biggest names in the music business. With a widely eclectic taste in music I have been able to review everything from folk pop, punk, hard rock, and every sub-genre of metal.
Along with music I’ve also covered video gaming, literature (horror, science fiction, and biography), films, and television.
Since the start of doing concert photography I’ve shot with Nikon cameras and lenses. Many of my photos were shot with a Nikon D3300, which has been a good budget camera for the job producing results that surprise many. Currently I’m shooting with the Nikon Z6ii due to it’s far superior low light capabilities.
This page serves both as a portfolio of my work, both as a photographer and as a writer, as well as a place where I can share my thoughts that may not be appropriate for a music magazine, or simply not accepted for publication elsewhere.
